How to Subtract

Declutter your organization, streamline your thinking, relieve overwhelm, and – if all goes as planned – change how you see your world. We need to understand why we overlook the option to remove things, then we can tap the power of subtraction. This talk is customized from my original research, my book, SUBTRACT, and the lessons I’ve picked up from sharing these ideas across organizations and sectors over the last half-decade.

Find Better Spaces

Before considering paint colors, office layouts, and square footage, we must first ask whether we matter and belong. Those are basic human needs, and how we attend to our surroundings either feeds or starves them—now more than ever. Once we understand these needs, we find that aligning our spaces with them is something we all can do right away at home, at the office, and everywhere else. Drawing from my new book, IN A GOOD PLACE, and my C-Suite report in the Wall Street Journal, this talk offers new ways to be productive and fulfilled in work and life.
